Crystal Williams

Crystal Williams was born in Brooklyn NY of Jamaican and Italian decent. Ever since she was young she was involved in the arts. Since the age of five Crystal was trained in dance such as hip hop, jazz and modern. Crystal Joined an after school program called Becan and they went around the community and performed different dance routines. By the time she reached Junior high she learned that she had a passion for acting and she started to attend a drama program in Queens NY called My Voice Youth Theater. At this arts program Crystal started to take voice lessons and there Crystal learned techniques such as improve, scene study and memorization techniques.

At the end of the program all the students were given skits to learn and perform for the organization. When Crystal had her first feel of acting on stage she fell in love with it and since then she knew that it was something that she wanted to persue. By the time Crystal reached High school she was involved in an organization by the name of Art start and there Crystal was among young artist who used the talents of voice and playing an instrument. Crystal formed a singing group called Jemini The group was together for four years and performed at many locations in NY and also performed at showcases that Art Start put together. They also performed for an organization called New Yorkers against gun violence.

At this time Crystal wasn't involved in Becan anymore but she went to the program on the weekends and assisted the dance teacher and served as the assistant dance teacher.  Crystal attended Murry Bergtraum High school and there she was a member of the volleyball and bowling team. She was also part of the NAACP club. She graduated High School with the titles of President of her senior class, President of Black Student Union and Prom Queen. 

By the age of 17 Crystal decided that it was time to make her dreams and passion of becoming an actress real. She began to go on auditions and since then she has filmed several student films, a few shorts, two features, an independent, and is currently working on her first S.A.G feature. Crystal has also been in a Burger king commercial. Crystal also took an interest in modeling and by the age of 18 she started doing promotional modeling jobs and also did several fashion shows. Her love for theater and film is so serious that she decided to major in Theater in college so she could really master her craft. Crystal is currently attending York College in NY and is in her third year. In the movie “Don’t Blink” Crystal plays the main girlfriend of the lead Character Prentiss.
